The Minecraft Bug

The Minecraft Bug is a short mockumentary about the deeply personal experiences that can be made in the game of Minecraft. While simple on the surface, Minecraft facilitates incredible expressions of creativity and worthwhile interactions between friends. Starring Eric Rine and Josh Walker, The Minecraft Bug explores holding onto one’s childhood as the main characters navigate an important juncture in their aging process.

The Minecraft Bug was screened at the Student World Impact Film Festival, which was attended by representatives from 149 different countries. It placed within the top 5 of short films exhibited at the festival, earning the SWIFF Finalist Award.
